About
Hi, I’m Chris. I’m a PhD student in Computer Engineering at UC San Diego, advised by Hadi Esmaeilzadeh. I also hold an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue.
My research is an interplay of compilers, machine learning, and systems. More specifically, I’m interested in compilers and systems for cross-domain applications — autonomous driving pipelines, say, that need signal processing, machine learning and control theory at once — along with multi-target compilers that can hit CPUs, GPUs and domain-specific accelerators efficiently, and the machine-learning-based compiler optimizations that make all of it tractable.
When I’m not in the office I run, play tennis, and lift.
